Internet dating has made modern dating easier to manage – you don’t<\/em> have to go to a party and try to talk to strangers who may already have partners; you don’t<\/em> have to chat up the receptionist of the company that you work for and wonder whether your boss will be annoyed or not; you don’t<\/em> have to ask your friends and family to introduce suitable candidates to you when their social circles aren’t<\/em> too different from yours because you share the same resources anyway. Yes, online dating gives you a highly efficient and very effective way to approach modern dating – everybody knows why<\/strong> everybody is on a dating website, so you don’t<\/em> need to explain yourself at all. But some people still find internet dating a bit hard because… they don’t<\/em> have the momentum. Now please allow me to talk about a similar situation which will fully explain how to build the momentum while doing almost anything<\/em>. ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How I build my momentum while writing:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every Monday is my writing day. As I wake up in the morning, I think I know what to do: wear my morning gown, eat a healthy breakfast, check my emails and read the local news on the smartphone. And of course, I drink a cup of matcha latte – my favorite drink in the world. ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then I say to myself, “I should start writing now<\/em>.” So, I start my computer. I open a browser and play the background music on YouTube (it’s always romantic jazz without lyrics).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I guess I should also prepare a hot chocolate and see if that brings some inspiration to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, I get a hot chocolate. Sit at my desk. Open a Word document.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now I feel my energy level is increasing. I feel much more energized in this moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I start typing the information in the header section, e.g., “SimplyDating.com July 2021<\/em>”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All right. I should be ready. In order to come up with a good title of the new article, I open my Libby app to find some ideas<\/a> – something that inspires me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, I looked at the eBooks and audio books that I’ve borrowed on Libby app, and I wonder if I feel inspired enough today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10 minutes pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have to make a decision<\/u><\/em><\/strong>. Another 10 minutes pass and now I’m typing the title of this article. Things look pretty good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At last, I’m in a flow state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I type 1,000 words within 25 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After editing and proofreading the first article, I start to write the second article. Yes, I can write.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What writing<\/em> has taught me is exactly what internet dating<\/em> has taught me over so many years.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The first 200 words do not<\/em> really matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, when you join a dating site, just begin to talk to somebody you are interested in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hence, you just need to start now and momentum will find you as you keep going. Most people don’t<\/em> find the love of their life on the first day when they just join a dating website. It usually takes a while before they actually meet the right person. That’s absolutely normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prepare your opening line.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  8. Genuine<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Complimentary<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Positive<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  11. Open-ended<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  12. Honest<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  13. Playful<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  14. Sincere<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
