Dating Slavic women can be a unique and rewarding experience, but it’s important to approach it with honesty and openness. Love is one of the most beautiful things that you can experience in life. Almost every philosopher and poet has had their interpretation of love. Now it’s my turn to share my honest take on this topic. 😉
What is not love with Slavic women?
Seeking validation or attention from someone is not love because that’s just neediness. Obsessing over someone that doesn’t speak to you is not love either because that’s only low self-esteem.
Love is beyond biochemical, as this feeling is not the same as eating dark chocolate.
What is love?
After interviewing many Slavic women looking for relationships, I have summarized that love can’t be a one-way street – love has to be reciprocated. Real love is built on mutual investment in a serious relationship.
When you truly love someone, you care about that person genuinely & you care about that person’s outcomes in life.
Nine years ago, a client consulted with me, “I’m so in love with this woman, but I’m not sure whether I will be hurt or not if I start a relationship with her. I’m wondering if she will do XYZ in the future and then I will be in pain….”
“But you don’t love her,” I was honest with him, “Because if you actually love her, your primary question wouldn’t be whether you will be hurt or not. If you truly love her, your primary question will be how to make her very happy. So, you don’t love her. The prerequisite of a relationship doesn’t exist.”
He was a bit embarrassed when I told him the truth, and then he sent me an email, “What you’ve said isn’t necessarily what people want to hear, but it’s true. I appreciate your honesty.”

When you genuinely care about someone’s outcome in life, even if that won’t benefit you, that’s true love.
One decade ago, I was in a relationship with a man who changed my life. When we broke up, he still wished me well. When I look back on the way he talked about his ex-wife, I remember that he also wished her well. His love life may or may not work out by now, but I still think he is a good person.
Now you might ask me why true love isn’t enough in a relationship. Well, in truth, love is one aspect of a long-term relationship. Yes, it’s the most important part of a relationship, but it’s not the entire relationship. There are many other aspects influencing the longevity of a relationship. For example, if you and a Slavic woman are in a long-distance relationship, the relationship might end if the distance issue isn’t resolved in time. Also, if intimacy is non-existent in a romantic relationship, that relationship isn’t sustainable either. So, there are various factors contributing to the future of a relationship. Be sure to watch this space because I keep writing articles about this topic on this blog. 😊
“If you have met a Slavic woman online, please make the relationship work by visiting her, confirming the connection and organising a future plan so that you’ll be able to build a beautiful life together in real life.”
