Irina tells her story

Despite our age Giuseppe and I registered on the dating website Simply Dating to find love, and we succeeded in this.
Since neither Giuseppe nor I could speak English, our acquaintance began with an exchange of letters.

We were interested in each other from the first line of our letters.
His letters were all humorous, heartfelt, and had lots of energy! In one breath I read all his letters! I could tell that his letters were full of sincerity, intelligence, and humor, and I knew that he was truly interested in what he was writing about. We could easily discuss anything at all without worrying that we wouldn’t be understood!

We got to know one another better and better by exchanging fascinating pictures, our opinions on life, worries about the future, and hopes for a Happily Ever After. Very fast our acquaintance developed into something more the just communication and friendship.

I felt attracted to Giuseppe and I wanted to see him, I made the first step and offered him a video chat so that we could look into each other’s eyes. It was an extremely thrilling moment! I certainly looked forward to it and at the same time worried that something might go wrong! Thankfully, as soon as we laid eyes on one another, our concerns vanished and we realized that our expectations were fulfilled!

Giuseppe has always closely monitored the situation in Ukraine. He was worried about my and my family’s safety and every day I felt his care and support.

After our conversation in the video, Giuseppe suggested moving in together and start a new chapter in our life!!!

I realized that he was the man I had always dreamed of! I gladly took him up on his offer! I started gathering items, purchasing tickets, and preparing to relocate with my cherished pets. And everything was perfect as if fate itself helped us.

The journey to my Dear Giuseppe wasn’t completely easy, however, nothing could stop me, and I counted minutes till our real meeting!
It was like something out of a movie when I saw him in the airport terminal. My heart stopped, so I left the luggage trolley and went to meet my partner.
It felt wonderful when we gave one other hugs and kisses.

When we came home a romantic dinner awaited me. It turned out, that my wonderful Giuseppe is an excellent chef! As a joyful family, we are devoted to one another, and we surprise each other with our national dishes.

We’re working on the garden’s landscape design, visiting the country house, and going for walks… Giuseppe shows me his masterpiece corners of Spain, and the beauties we see leave us with strong emotions and impressions. Most importantly, all this we are doing together!

We plan to get married once the papers are ready.
